Mmmm Good Coffee!!!!!!!!!

Very good medium roast coffee! Makes excellent espresso! and works with drip too.
The roast is not so dark that you miss the flavors of the coffee and only taste the roast. The beans are a dark brown with a nice shine. A rare bean has a dark spot on it where it was roasted more. The only other coffee I tried at amazon was Rocamojo Organic Gourmet Coffee - French Roast, Whole Bean, 16-Ounce Can (Pack of 3). While it was good, it was darker and I only tasted the roast.
Take a look at the picture for reference.
One strange thing is that there is no date on the bags. No expiration date. No roast date. In fact there is no printed code or lot. Who knows how old it is? It is good that these purged bags do a good job of keeping coffee fresh while sealed.

| Great coffee and a bargain when buying it by the 5 pound bag. California does some things better than us here in Indiana, coffee is one of them. |
